Swedish microphone manufacturer, best known for their unusual rectangular condenser element. Originally founded in 1978 when Pearl Mikrofonlaboratorium AB was split into 2 entities, the sales and manufacturing part was named Creative Trade AB (CTAB) and was run by Hans Rosander who is the son of original Pearl founder Rune Rosander. In addition to continuing the manufacture the Pearl line of microphone the company also started manufacturing a line of microphones called MiLab (a shortening of Mikrofonlaboratorium), but when CTAB was sold to Bilsom in 1984 the responsibility for the manufacture of Pearl microphones reverted to the original company.
