USA based company, best known as a supplier of non-linear video editing hardware and software but has increasingly been active in the pro and semi-pro audio markets ever since it took over Digidesign in 1995 and followed that up with the takeover of Euphonix, M-Audio, Sibelius, Pinnacle & Evolution, and by now sells anything from low budget midi interfaces to high end recording consoles.
