Dmitry Zhevlakov
Russian builder of Spanish and Flamenco style guitars based in Tula, known for the exquisite inlay work on his instruments and in fact he is better known outside of his home country as a supplier of quality rosettes than he is for his guitars. Also makes other inlay products such as jewlery boxes and the like.
Mr. Zhevlakov and his father had the foresight to start stocking and drying large quantities of local spruce and red cedar in the 1970's and in the 80's started stocking hardwoods as well so he is pretty unique in the world as far as guitar builders go in that he is totally self sufficient for aged wood materials for his products.
