USA based company that manufactures and sells musical instruments, including electric guitars, basses and amplification under the Dean Guitars name, guitars, basses, ukuleles and banjos under the Luna Guitars label, guitar and bass amplifiers under the Dime Amplifiers brand and drums and related accessories under the DDrums name.
Company was originally founded in 1994 as Armadillo Case Co. and initially manufactured flight cases and related products and has since then acquired a number of trade mark that they use to brand products that are mostly ODM procured products although the company has some production facilities of their own. Armadillo bought the Dean trademark from Oscar Medeiros in 1997 and the DDrum trademark was bought from Clavia DMI in 2005. Luna is on the other hand a brand the company created in 2005 and the Dime Amplifiers name was started in 2009.
