Barnes and Mullins
A long running UK company that was in the 20th century a large manufacturer of musical instuments with ownership of factories all over the world but started selling them off in the 1990's to concentrate of distributing and the last factory owned by B&M was spun off in 2005 and is now Generation Music.
In addition to the Barnes & Mullins brand the company sells under a variety of other names including Astrea for classical instrument strings, Brunswick for Asian sourced plucked folk instuments like guitars and ukuleles etc., more upmarket acoustic steel string guitars under the Faith name, electric guitars and basses using the Gould stencil, classical string instruments and cases under the Hidersine brand, budget classical guitars under the Jose Ferrer name, beginners drum sets using the Kix label, harmonicas and ukuleles under the Lazy stensil, bows under the P. Hoyer brand and guitar cases, bags, cables stands and similar accessories using the TGI name.

Brazilian manufacturer of drums and other percussion instruments, produces most types of western and latin types of percussion product but have also been getting info manufacturing of African style drums lately. Company is run by Ricardo Bauer and has been since 1995 but it was originally founded by his father Paulo Bauer and the drums they produced up to the 95 takeover were sold under the Raul brand although the company had the same name.
